Aren’t Notes and Resolution Redundant?

When completing a task, there are Notes and a required resolution field. Isn’t the resolution field redundant?


Actually, no. The Notes are sent to the requester upon completion, but the resolution is not. The resolution allows you to capture more detail or specific content that may not be of interest or appropriate for the customer to see.

It is also required that you capture the detail of the resolution, but it is not required that you include a note for the customer.
